Season’s Greetings from ClassicLive with the UNICEF Anthem!

The Lahti Symphony Orchestra recorded on 19 November the new UNICEF Anthem to promote the awareness and importance of the Convention on the Rights of the Child. The 20th Anniversary of the Universal Child Day is on 20 November. The Anthem is composed by Steve Barakatt, a Canadian pianist and composer and UNICEF Canada Goodwill Ambassador.
The Anthem will be broadcasted through classiclive.com on 20 November.

The Lahti Symphony performance is available free of charge on http://www.classiclive.com/files/video/unicef.html on 20-22 November. After this the Anthem can be heard on www.classiclive.com on 23 November – 31 December and during that period the proceeds of the service will be given to UNICEF in order to celebrate the CRC@20 activities.Please, join us in helping UNICEF in its valuable work for children!
